On Your Feet Australia day is taking place on Friday 27 April 2018. Take part in the national day when workers across Australia unite together and participate in a variety of fun and simple activities to #SitLess and #MoveMore at work. The On Your Feet challenge dares you to convert some of your 'sitting time' to 'standing/moving time' so you have a good balance of sitting, standing & movement throughout the day. Here are some ideas to get you started:
- Stand during phone calls
- Take a break from your computer every 30 minutes, try a walk
- Use the stairs
- Have standing or walking meetings
- Eat your lunch away from your desk
- Stand at the back of the room during presentations
Friday 27th April 2018 is your chance to get the ball rolling and encourage your colleagues to get moving. Team up and see how much movement you can do on the day.
