This year we were successful in gaining a government innovation grant to partner with UNSW Canberra to conduct a research project on executive peer networking. This research project was born out of our quest to grow our current Executive Safety Exchange group into a larger peer networking group and to ensure we use a model that is best suited to executives.
Executive Safety Exchange
For the last three years we have been hosting the Executive Safety Exchange (ESE). The concept of the ESE is to share commentary and thoughts on leading health, safety and wellbeing between those who have in common the concerns and responsibilities of “Officers” in organisations – that is, senior executives and board leaders.
We recently held an Executive Safety Exchange session followed by a Heads of Safety session. As part of the research project with UNSW, Dr. Sharron O’Neill conducted a focus group with the attendees to get their opinions on peer networking sessions.
If you would like to know more about this initiative please get in touch, we would love to hear your opinions. To have your say please send us your response to the question below:
What would you like to see from an executive peer networking group focused on safety?
